Seattle, July 15, 2021: Healthcare startup Project Connect, with plans to optimize data in the healthcare industry completed a major rebrand today. Project Connect has transitioned to Opala, and all assets for the startup will adopt the new name in the coming weeks.
“The Opala brand puts the patient at the center of all of our efforts,” said Dr. Jeremy Orr, CEO. “Opala aspires to empower frictionless payer-provider collaboration. Everyone benefits.”
Currently, Opala’s largest client is multi-state health insurance provider in Washington (state) and Alaska. Together, this collaboration produced a project that created a standardized patient database API in a response to federal guidelines that went into effect July 1st of this year.
